The HCNHS chapter of the SNA was started by a group of HCNHS nursing students interested in having fun and becoming actively involved in shaping their future in the nursing profession.  Currently, we hope to strengthen the presence of the SNA at HCNHS and increase membership and involvement through:  

• providing opportunities for HCNHS nursing students that will increase involvement in HCNHS life.

• targeting SNA activities to address public health issues in health promotion and awareness.

• offering events for SNA members that provide educational  and networking  opportunities.  

We feel that participation in student nurse activities will better prepare graduates for the challenging role of the professional nurse.
