Purpose: The HCNHS chapter of the SNA was started by a froup of HCNHS nursing students interested in having fun and becoming actively involved in shaping their furture in the nursing profession. Currently, we hope to strengthen the presence of the SNA at HCNHS and increase membership and involvement through:
providing opportunities for HCNHS nursing students that will increase involvement in HCNHS life.
targeting SNA activites to address public health issues in health promotion and awareness
We feel that participation in student nurse activities will better prepare graduates for the challenging role of the professional nurse.
Special Events: In-semester monthly chapter meetings, community service events, attendance at regional and national conventions.
